Prototyping : 3D Animation & Arduino, Security Camera

Our prototyping stage is one of the most crucial aspects of the project as it helps portray the steps of our development process.

The Physical Prototype

The physical prototype consists of two parts, these being the Arduino uno circuit and the computer. Through the Arduino uno, we programmed a servo motor, which plays the role of door lock. The source code is run on the computer, and when the algorithm grants access to the person walking, the door lock switches open.

Below is the Arduino Uno C++ code that is used to turn the door lock system on and off. We also have an alternate bluetooth system which uses a HC-05 Bluetooth module to communicate with the source code itself. However, in the video below, the bluetooth system is not activated.

The 3D Animation

With the 3D model, we aimed to portray our ultimate goal for the future of this product- simultaneous and instant authentication.
